Like any commercial equipment, the float tank needs regular maintenance and service. It can be divided into those that can be performed by staff of the float center and those that require the arrival of a specialist.
So, the staff of the floating studio must:
- daily, in the morning and in the evening, check the level of active oxygen in the water with a tester and add peroxide according to the instructions if necessary. Monitor the water level in the bath and add if necessary.
- Between the sessions, collect large debris from the water surface with net (hair, etc.) and control the temperature of the water in bath and the air inside cabin.
- weekly check the filter cartridge for contamination, rinse it with water flow if necessary
- weekly monitor the UV lamp sterilizer (should not indicate that it is time to change)
- weekly check the concentration of Epsom salt in the solution and add overnight if necessary. Also check the pH of the water with a tester and adjust it with chemicals to level 7.2
- weekly open box with a pump and filter, visual inspecting for leaks and salt accumulation. Remove the salt if necessary, after disconnecting the power supply.
- monthly or once in 2 months to change the cartridge filter
If you find any problems in the box with floating equipment, disconnect the power supply and contact our customer service.
